Preserved leaves

It's always fun to preserve leaves, whether by pressing, laminating, or soaking in glycerin. I just fished out the leaves I'd had soaking. Their colors are muted, but still lovely.

  1. I remember making placemats in elementary school by ironing pretty fall leaves between two pieces of waxed paper. When the mats were no longer useful as mats, the leaves were nicely preserved by the thin coating of wax. :) Your project looks lovely.
