Well-dressed Roman dogs
I was reminded of these dapper 'fellows' on the Spanish steps, in Rome last winter break, while poking around my photo archives last night.I mentioned them to my gardening companion (the photographer) this afternoon and he didn't remember them. Hmm.
They were quite striking.
I have a memory of about 15 dogs lounging on the steps into a French church (and a photo someplace)! Dogs have a strong presence in Europe. Very nicely dressed aren't they! gail
