A whimsical gate

I love this gate, created of mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia) branches.  I have wonderfully talented colleagues and our Children's Garden manager has a special creative streak.

Doesn't a gate like this invite you to a special place?

  1. Yes, it is so inviting. Just beautiful.

  2. Lisa,
That is one nice gate! Never would have thought of using mountain laurel it is unique no question.

  3. Wonderful gate! I love gates of all kinds but am especially fond of openwork gates like this one.

  4. I agree with Sarah. It's a wonderfully inviting gate and it spurs my imagination for dealing with some of the detritus in our backyard.

Please share your thoughts. I enjoy hearing from fellow nature observers, as well as whomever else drops by.
