The raised beds are ready for change-outs

I haven't been sure about what to do with my typical vegetable garden change-outs in the raised beds up front.  The weather has continued to be cool, so the kale is looking good, the sugar snap peas are flowering and the broccoli looks promising, too (it would be amazing to have a harvest of broccoli after 20+ years of vegetable gardening in the south.)

I pulled up most of the flowering arugula this evening, so am ready to start with peppers, tomatoes, and squash.  Chances are that we'll be here in Asheville through mid-summer, so why not?

The wood ferns that have colonized the sedum bed are looking robust and beautiful, too.
