A new gardening and nature year

Different places and gardening rhythms,  a changing garden, and perhaps adventures ahead, mark my thoughts as I enter a new year.

A smaller garden means fewer gardening activities, although I'm already planning my mid-winter cool season sowings post-travel.

I've been meaning to come up with some sort of attractive "covers" for my front beds, but the mild winter (up until now) pushed that to the back-burner.  And being away doesn't encourage production while away traveling, after all!

I've harvested plenty of greens already without over-doing planting.
