Impressive Swiss chard

I've grown Swiss chard for many years, always enjoying its relatively disease-free growth.  

In recent years however, I've appreciated how ample fertilization (I normally use sustained release organic fertilizer from Espoma) enhances growth.  

These impressive leaves benefited from composted well-aged manure, too.  I've been admiring them in the vegetable garden here in Quebec, but with cooler temperatures was tempted to harvest some of them.  

There's not a freeze in sight yet, but I'm starting to clean up the spent sugar peas, and will be checking on the zucchini as temperature dip.
