We didn't really get much in the way of snow with the recent winter storm, although surrounding areas did.In the mountains, up to a foot of snow and ice fell, creating slippery conditions on highways and streets.
This morning, the ice droplets sparkled as the sun started to peak out.The Eastern hemlocks looked graceful, with their dusting of ice.
And it looks like I need to fill the feeders again!

How beautiful everything looks with that delicate coating of ice. I hope you didn't sustain any plant damage from it. Yes, this time of year, the feeders always seem to be empty. :)
Great pictures Lisa. We did get a lot of snow...somewhere between 8- 12 inches. With the drifts it is hard to figure how much.
Those birds can really chow down!
But of course, I'm happy to provide some extra sustenance.
