A whimsical gate
I love this gate, created of mountain laurel (Kalmia latifolia) branches. I have wonderfully talented colleagues and our Children's Garden manager has a special creative streak.
Doesn't a gate like this invite you to a special place?

Lisa,
That is one nice gate! Never would have thought of using mountain laurel it is unique no question.
Wonderful gate! I love gates of all kinds but am especially fond of openwork gates like this one.
I agree with Sarah. It's a wonderfully inviting gate and it spurs my imagination for dealing with some of the detritus in our backyard.
