Evening view
We've been glad of the rain lately (our drought status has been significantly downgraded, hooray!) But, having warm sunny spring days is always uplifting.
We eat our dinner (and lunch on the weekends) out on the porch. The light this evening was beautiful.
And the view from my study window was lovely, too. I'm always reminded that it didn't always look pleasing, and we're grateful for the transformation.

Your porch is really inviting. A desk without a view is just sad!!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fine view!...Having experienced looking out my own windows onto a mess..I appreciate looking out and feeling gratitude now! Your house looks wonderful~~ and good news about the rain! gail
ReplyDeleteOh this is such a nice view to have, the window, wow, so empowering. Thanks for sharing. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful and tranquil setting. My attitude suddenly adjusted just by seeing these photos. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely grateful for my desk view (I don't understand folks who want to face a blank wall), and also appreciate having (most) of spring clean-up behind us.
ReplyDeleteAnd, I'm remembering how I was inspired by a comment from a wise gardening mentor (and Master Gardener) many years ago about considering the view from your windows as you plant.
But, of course, I thought, looking onto the ugly aluminum carport that was the view from the porch and my study before. (It sat where the birdbath, birdfeeders, and herb pots are today).
I always feel a sense of peace (and gratitude) coming home.
