Beans and zucchini from the garden
Green beans and zucchini from the garden. Almost at the end of fall vegetable harvests.
I had posted this photo directly on FB, but it really deserves documentation here on my gardening blog, too! The Astia bush zucchini, planted from seed, has done well, still producing fruits in cooler weather.
The two squash plants I planted from transplants started maturing fruit much earlier, and have done remarkably well.
And the pole beans, a variety of cultivars, have been pretty and produced just enough beans to be a welcome addition.
And there will be a final swiss chard harvest later this week. It's done extremely well, in spite of struggling early on.
