I was hoping to enjoy my new sweet-smelling Sarcococca at this time. I would trade it in for your rain.Swimrayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02928919593044289369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859873319068539701.post-25231012637814329912010-02-06T09:59:05.051-05:002010-02-06T09:59:05.051-05:00The soil can't hold any more water here. Last year we planted peas on Jan 24th. We do have some fall greens that I covered with plastic still growing.Randy Emmitthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10292186655869617897noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859873319068539701.post-85124577603214112172010-02-05T22:15:32.331-05:002010-02-05T22:15:32.331-05:00I'm becoming frustrated and impatient, too... ...I'm becoming frustrated and impatient, too... but keep trying to remind myself that I have it so much better than some others, just as you did here. :)Meredithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11454557080455458675noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4859873319068539701.post-37039730348837267042010-02-05T21:15:19.129-05:002010-02-05T21:15:19.129-05:00The aquifers are full. It feels like it's been raining since December. The ground is absolutely sopping wet. And there's more in the forecast for next week. I'm ready for some drought. I figure I need about 3 weeks of no rain just to get the gardens prepared for spring. At this point, I'll never get me sprouted cabbages into the garden.Tom - 7th Street Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03416233066465228351noreply@blogger.com
